Flag Flies Outside Union Hall
On Saturday, May 31, Rolling Thunder, a group of Vietnam Veterans set a missing man table to symbolize the many US veterans who did not return and are still not accounted for. A moving poem describing those left behind said, “All gave some and some gave all.”
Veterans Committee member Ron Svagerko’s grandson, Dillon, lit a candle to symbolize the next generation.
Veterans Committee members then joined with Rolling Thunder in hoisting the flag, which now proudly waves in front of the Union Hall.
