Safety Committee Report

OUR GOAL IS TO BE INJURY FREE

INJURY FREE DAYS --Injury Free Days 2011 - 291 out of 365 =79.7%

There were no injuries reported in the plant during the week ending 12/31/11

Calling for an Ambulance

Circumstances that warrant calling an ambulance would include but are not limited to unconsciousness, seizure, chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, excessive bleeding, serious broken bone or burn, or chemical exposure. If trapped or caught in a confined space, machine, crane, elevation, or pit, then heavy rescue squad should be requested.

If you are not sure an ambulance is needed, call 7101 and ask for guidance.

It is a good idea to carry with you a list of current medications you may be taking as well as a medical alert for any allergies, etc.
